The worldwide leader in window treatment motorization, Somfy continues to innovate and create stronger, quieter motors. Somfy has created the myLink as they also recognize the growing attraction to automating items and operating through applications on smartphones.

MOTORS:
AC Motors have thick gage cables which either plug in to wall outlets or are hardwired. These are generally the strongest motors available. Somfy AC Motors are used for Roller Shades and Draperies.
DC Motors use a small two-wire cable which delivers 24 VDC from a power supply to the motor. The power supply may be plugged in to any wall outlet or run back to a power supply cabinet for an inconspicuous installation. DC motors are only used in roller shades.
Wirefree Battery Motors are either bult in to the motor or use a rechargeable battery pack for use where using a plug is not practical. Battery motors can also use solar recharge kits in locations where the sun can continuously trickle charge the batteries. These motors may also be powered by 12 VDC plug in power supplies. Wirefree motors are used in roller shades, honeycomb shades and to tilt horizontal blinds.

TaHoma: App based control. Must have access to in-home Wi-Fi.

AMP MOTORS
AMP motors is one of the most advanced motor program in the market with it's 2-way communication technology and the most user-friendly smart app available.
