Universal introduces a new 5 Day Production Guaranteed roller shade program using our most popular and versatile fabric, E Screen 5% and two new fabrics: S Screen Elements 4% and Edessa Twilight.  S Screen has a distinctive weave mimicking a woven grasscloth while using 60% recycled content.  Edessa Twilight is a beautiful, high quality blackout that can keep project costs down.  With 27 top quality fabrics available in 5 days, you can have a premium product to your customer in days!  Contact customer service or your sales rep for your free samples!

Eclipse Introduces Rakes and Angles
 
Eclipse Shutters has followed up their award winning arch from 2008 with a natural evolution of the product including increased specifications and the elimination of templates for most shapes. 
The next step in the specialty shape category is to offer more shapes, which are now available! With 6 additional shapes in our arsenal, you’ll be hard pressed to find an opening that we can’t fill with an Eclipse shutter.
The following shapes are now available with a 4 week production time:
            Full Rake – 24” – 72” (up to 2 vertical supports)
            Half Rake – 24” – 72” (up to 2 vertical supports)
            Symmetrical Angle Top – 24” – 72” (up to 2 vertical supports)
            Angle Top – 24” – 72” (up to 2 vertical supports)
            Hexagon – 12” – 40” (up to 1 vertical support)
            Octagon – 12” – 40” (up to 1 vertical support)

Cordless Roller Shades

To continue building our child safe offerings, Universal now fabricates high quality cordless roller shades.  Universal's Safe Assured roller shades come standard with a headrail for easy installation and is available with a cassette. Our cordless roller shades provide a sleek, contemporary look and is available with a large variety of fabrics.  Please contact customer service or your sales agent for more information.

Ensuring Child Safety

Based on recent discussions and regulations enforced unto the window treatment industry, Universal Window Coverings is now providing new safety tension devices with all verticals, roller shades and sliding panels.  With these new measures, we at Universal hope to bring increased child safety to homes everywhere.

Sales Rep Hired!
Universal Window Coverings is excited to announce the addition of Alberto Ramos to our sales force.  Alberto brings nineteen years of experience in the window covering industry attributing to his vast knowledge in sales, motorization, shutters and all types of window coverings. 
We at Universal Window Coverings pride ourselves in our service and are very excited that adding Alberto to our team will only increase this level of service.

Discontinued Product
With the addition of Posh Roman Shades two years ago, Universal Window Coverings introduced a workroom quality roman shade with affordable prices. Unfortunately, sales have not met the expected volume and the program has been discontinued.
